WESTBY LEADERSHIP TREK 2025

What is TREK: It’s all about the T-factor: Teaching, Training, and Truly seeking God Together. Add a healthy dose of outdoor adventure with other students from across the Midwest for five great days to start off the summer break! Students will join a growing group of emerging student leaders and volunteers each day as we tee off enjoying the beautiful bluffs and deep valleys of Southwestern Wisconsin. While focusing on leadership, ministry planning and their walks with God, daily adventures may include canoeing, wall climbing, ropes course, zip line, tower swing, and dinner on the beach (all of which are optional to participate in, and none are high risk activities) . Students taking the five-day leadership trek will discover how they can make the maximum impact for Christ on their campus!

2025 PROMO VIDEO

Dates:  Friday May 16th – Tuesday May 20th, 2025

When should I arrive? Registration is from 12:30pm – 1:45pm on Friday May 16th  at Living Waters Bible Camp. Just come to main cafeteria building. It is just cross over the walking bridge. We get started at 2pm. We suggest you give yourself enough time to get registered and put your belongings in your cabin.

What should I bring? You will be staying in nice heated cabins. You will need to supply your sleeping bag (we encourage you to have a sleeping bag, not just a blanket). Pillow, towel, wash cloth, soap, toiletries, Rain Poncho. Clothes for warm and cool weather. Pair of old shoes (canoeing and other adventures). All the things you would need for a retreat at a camp only for 5 days. Other things to bring – Bible, pen, flashlight, sunscreen.  You get the picture!

What about meals? Every meal and even some snacks are covered in your cost. You will not need to spend anything on meals unless you want to bring your own personal stash of snacks. The first meal will be Friday night dinner.

What if I am the only student coming from my campus? No worries, you will be put on a team of 8-10 other students and you will get to know them throughout the week.

Do I need any money? Everything is included in the cost except the cost of driving to the camp and lunch on the way if you desire to stop.

Transportation? It is on your own. We encourage you to find others from your campus that you might be able to car pool with. There is plenty of parking at the camp. Please use the Living Waters Bible Camp website to get directions or the address of the camp.

How do I pay? If you did not pay the full amount on-line you can pay the remainder when you get to the camp. We are set up for credit cards, cash, or checks. Please make checks out to “Cru”.

How do I raise support? If you are in need of raising some of, or all of, the registration cost for TREK, here is a sample letter with helpful letter writing tips.

When are we finished? We will be all wrapped up before 2pm on Tuesday.

We look forward to having an awesome TREK together!
